Health Center Director
Dr. Joseph Peabody attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed two residencies: one in internal medicine at Lutheran General Hospital, where he served as chief resident, and the other in emergency medicine at the University of Chicago. After practicing emergency medicine for over 20 years, he is excited to join the team at Union Wellness Centers, where he can focus on keeping members well by preventing emergencies and illness. Dr. Joe strives to partner with each individual patient to create a personalized health plan centered primarily on proven and effective diet and lifestyle interventions, as well as medications and additional treatments when necessary. Dr. Joe lives in Arlington Heights with his wife, Gigi, and two sons. Outside of medicine, he enjoys photography, exploring the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
